Discernment 

Discerning what is from God can be very difficult. It requires a steady reliance on Him and Him alone. We really have to rid ourselves of all distractions and come to the throne room of His grace. He is ready and wants to speak to us. He is always knocking at our hearts and is leading us to new heights and new depths. The one thing that is required is to listen to Him. To sit in the silence and reflect deeply on His love for us and His love for those around us. He leads His children on a path that often looks different than what we thought it would look like.

The narrow way is always better and leads to life. I have been hearing this truth from the Lord in my life recently and am pressing into what He has daily. Through the obstacles and trials of life, He is so close and is so near to the contrite in spirit. He wants us desperate for Him and Him alone, nothing else.
